A little bit
About me
My work history…
Founding a nonprofit coworking space for the artist community in New York City called The Artist Co-op, has taught me that you don’t need a business degree in order to launch a successful business.
While assisting a Broadway Producer, I quickly learned organizational upkeep and most importantly leveraging your network to invest in a show.
Since working on the client service team at a boutique gym, I learned that customer service teams are the gatekeepers. I will never underestimate their value to any organization.
During my acting period, I juggled a lot of different jobs from dog-walking to babysitting to selling chocolate. I understand the importance of managing my time and the hustle of getting work done.
Being an actor taught me to be my own promotor. I figured out how to market myself, like building my own website and developing my brand.
Why Work with me?
I believe in…
Mentorship
Never underestimate the value of a mentor. I rely heavily on the support and advice from my Board President, advisor, and good friend, Ron Black
Market Research
Before you begin, research everything! Host focus groups, interview friends, and compare your findings because it will inform the direction of your pursuits.
Perseverance
I’ve presented my pitch deck to a room of people who may not look, think, or dress like me, but with a bit of perseverance I get my message out in the world.
Street Treasures
One person’s trash is another person’s treasure. Most of the furniture at TAC was found on the street. You never know what you may find on NYC Streets which is fun!
Hard Work
Putting together the big orange couch was no easy project, but the pay off of seeing the final product was so worth it! If it were easy, everyone would do it...
Dream Big
Nobody can take your dreams away from you, so make it big! This is your why, and will be your guiding light for everything that you do! So dare to dream big kid!
A Room of One’s Own
The importance of having a space that is dedicated to you, is essential in developing your pursuits, whether it’s an office, a corner, or your backyard!
Have Fun
Life’s way too short, so you might as well live it up! For me, I love getting on the dance floor and shaking what my mama gave me, like no one is watching.
