Hi! My name is Rachel Berger and I call myself an artrepreneur.

I want to share my journey with you and help you launch your creative business idea.

My Background

All my life, I have been involved with the arts. I thankfully blame it on my mom, who started bringing me along to her Miami Children’s Art Museum job when I was only 3 years old. In 2012, I moved to NYC with the big dreams of becoming a famous Broadway actress, but quickly discovered that what I love most, is creating, developing, and innovating new ideas and solutions! My journey creating The Artist Co-op showed me that we can all be artrepreneurs!

Fun Facts

I worked on a Slushie Truck

For two summers, I drove a slushie truck around NYC and sold all natural Kelvin Slush.

I had a dog named Smudge

Smudge was a chocolate lab mutt; her nose, paws, and tail were white, like she smudged herself in paint.

I performed at the Edinburgh International Fringe Festival

In 2015, I acted in a new devised theater piece called Future Honey with 3 other incredible women.

I grew up on 10 acres in Lexington, Kentucky

My childhood was filled with playing dress up, horse back riding, and school plays.

Rachel Berger Interview

“After my third time applying to the top MFA programs in acting, bummed and disheartened, I looked back at my statement of purpose, which asked why I want to be an actor, but out of rejection came a silver lining…I realized I wanted to build a community and be surrounded by the intellectual capital that a university would offer.”
